Short lived

This post was going to be a great big trumpet blowing affair until I decided to use Picnik to improve the colours in this photo. It was only then that I noticed the glaring error in my finished Stargazer Crystal. Right now I can't decide whether I want to cry or rip the thing apart :(
My ta-dah moment was well and truly short-lived. So lovely readers, if this was coming to you would you want me to remedy the mistake I made or would you just say "what mistake?" and love it anyway? I'm so disappointed! I'd even managed to match the points in the centre really well for me :( I'm off to sulk in a corner somewhere... Catch you soon x

  1. I am obviously completely thick, or the mistake isn't that big!!
No sulking allowed, it looks stunning and your partner should be bloody chuffed to get it!

  3. Don't change it, the mistake is teeny and very very hard to spot and the block is absolutely fabulous. If you hadn't pointed it out, I never would have seen it. Life's too short!

  4. I'm trying really hard (and only because you mentioned it) but I don't see any mistake. I'd be more than happy to receive this if it were me!

  5. Well I was secretly hoping this was mine cos of the colours and I certainly can't see the mistake. I have a 20mph rule about mistakes.

  6. Like I said on Flickr I honestly can't see the mistake. I've sat here having a good look determined to find a fault and I can't. So if it's coming to me it'll be called the puzzle cushion so you'll need to tell me the mistake so I can get guests that admire it to try and solve the puzzle.

  9. It's brilliant, so go blow that trumpet fanfare! It's one tiny piece. You only need to change it if it's going to spoil the whole achievement for you. Your partner will love it. :)

  13. Please don't sulk. This is absolutely amazing! I had to look so hard for ages to see any mistake, so if it's not that obvious it's certainly not worth unpicking. Leave well alone! Jxo

  15. It's amazing, so intricate.
I only spotted the mistake after staring for a very long time and I would never notice it without your telling us about it. So please leave it and I'm sure it will be admired.

  16. Ok, seriously, it took me about 2 minutes of really staring at it to figure out what the heck you were even talking about. It was hard to spot and it's still so beautiful. Don't sweat it unless you plan on entering it in a perfect piecing competition or something.
